Welcome to MediPet. By using our app, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

MediPet is a pet medication tracking and reminder application. It helps pet owners manage medication schedules, track health data, and coordinate care with household members.

2. Medical Disclaimer

MediPet is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. The app provides medication tracking tools and general educational content. Always consult your veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your pet's health. Medication interaction warnings are for informational purposes only and may not be comprehensive.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • MediPet offers a 7-day free trial for new users.
  • After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using premium features.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly ($3.99/month) or annually ($29.99/year).
  • Payment is processed through the Apple App Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MediPet.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the app (pet information, medication records, photos, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems to access the service

7. Household Sharing

When you share your household with other users, they will have access to view and manage shared pet and medication data. You are responsible for who you invite to your household.

8. Third-Party Services

The app may contain links to third-party services (e.g., pet insurance providers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services. Any transactions with third parties are solely between you and that third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

MediPet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Missed medication reminders due to device settings, battery optimization, or connectivity issues
  • Any harm to your pet resulting from reliance on the app
  • Data loss, although we make reasonable efforts to maintain backups
  • Inaccuracies in medication interaction warnings

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
